¾lbfresh ricotta

1Granny Smith apple, thinly sliced
2tablespoonsliced almonds
2tablespoonhoney
Instructions
Preheat the oven to a low broil.
Brush each slice of bread with olive oil. Toast for 1-5 minutes in the oven until crispy. Keep a close eye on it, broil settings can vary widely on ovens. Remove.
Meanwhile, whip the ricotta with a hand mixer in a medium bowl until creamy and smooth, 2-3 minutes.
Layer each slice of bread with the whipped ricotta, a sprinkle of cinnamon, apple slices, almonds if using, another sprinkle of cinnamon, and honey. Serve warm.
